Teachers’ Day Celebration 2025
On 5th September 2025, St. Joseph’s Convent School, Whitefield celebrated Teachers’ Day with great joy and heartfelt gratitude. The day, observed in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, was dedicated to appreciating the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds.

The celebration began with a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Melvin, invoking God’s blessings upon all teachers. After the Mass, the cultural program unfolded with a warm welcome and a heartfelt speech highlighting the importance of teachers in every student’s life. Students then presented a variety of performances—lively dances by Grades 5, 8, 9, and 10, a melodious group song, and a thoughtful skit that showcased the values and lessons imparted by teachers beyond the classroom. As a token of appreciation, gifts and greeting cards were presented to the teachers, and the program concluded with a joyous cake-cutting ceremony.
Adding to the spirit of the day, fun games were organized for the teachers under the guidance of Principal Sr. Malar Joseph. The teachers participated with enthusiasm, filling the atmosphere with laughter and cheer.
A special highlight of the program was the felicitation of Ms. Sagaya Mary, who has completed 27 years of dedicated service at the school. She was honored with a ponnada by Sr. Malar Joseph, along with fellow teachers and students, in recognition of her unwavering commitment and invaluable contribution to the school community.
The celebration was a memorable tribute to the teachers—marked by prayer, gratitude, joy, and respect—reflecting the strong bond between students and teachers at St. Joseph’s Convent School.
